The sport of gymnastics is one of the most fundamental and exciting of all physical activities. Basic gymnastics skills aid in the development of flexibility, balance, strength and agility; which contribute to a lifetime of health and physical fitness. Through gymnastics instruction, children also develop body awareness, coordination, confidence, and exercise their creativity while having fun!
With our state of the art equipment, up-to-date training aids and many varieties of matting, our gym is fully padded for safety. Excel is clean; sterilized and deodorized on a daily basis. And, of course... kid friendly! Excel Gymnastics strives to meet the needs of all individuals by offering a variety of programs suitable for children as young as 10 months old through adulthood.

 NEWS: Individual success continues for level 9 team at Regional Championships!
At the Level 9 Regional Championships held in Springfield, MA on April 13-14, 2013 the best level 9 gymnasts from New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut competed. Individual highlights for Excel gymnasts: Kaylee Sanford, 9.0 on beam! Rachel Shoemaker, 4th place on beam. Emily Beck 2nd place on beam! Michele Amado 1st alternate for the Eastern National Championships! Jasmine Harrison 4th on vault, 2nd on bars, 1st on beam, 2nd on floor, 1st all-around! Jasmine qualified to compete at the Eastern National Championships, to be held in Battle Creek, Michigan on May 3-5, 2013! Level 9 team gets 7th place at NY State Championships! At the NY State Championships held at SUNY Brockport on 3/23/13 Victoria Costello placed 7th on floor. Kaylee Sanford placed 6th on bars, 5th on beam and 8th all-around. Rachel Shoemaker placed 8th on vault, 3rd on beam, 6th on floor and 6th all-around. Emily Beck placed 2nd on beam, 5th on floor and 6th all-around. Michele Amado placed 6th on vault, 4th on bars, 2nd on beam, 4th on floor and 2nd all-around. Jasmine Harrison placed 2nd on vault, 1st on bars, 1st on beam, 6th on floor and 1st all-around!
